JILL FREEDMAN | Street Cops
- Description
- Details
Before all the NYPD television shows, there was "Street Cops".
With her camera as both witness and accomplice, Freeman ventured into the heart of this urban theater and embedded with the beat cops. From difficult arrests to quiet moments of reflection, "Street Cops" is a testament to the courage and resilience of those who patrolled the streets during some of New York's most downtrodden years. This is a book for photography enthusiasts, lovers of New York City, or just those drawn to true stories of everyday heroes.
