An important document of the Black Arts Movement which promoted independent black-owned publications to support black artists. The series was curated and published by Kamoinge Workshop, a collective of African American photographers that had formed in the 60's.
Volume 2 of the series featuring approximately 87 black & white photographs from 51 African American photographers.
Wear, toning, and staining to cover. Cover corners are rounded. First 7 pages have slight damp staining at corners and minor waviness. Very slight crease to one corner of most pages. Photography plates are clean, crisp and complete. Acceptable condition. A very useful reference copy.
