- Details
The scarce catalogue and even scarcer poster accompanying the excellent 2016 Serpentine Gallery exhibition "Zaha Hadid".
Eighteen projects from the 1970's to early 1990's are featured in over eighty total illustrations by Hadid. Student projects at Architectural Association "Malevich's Tekonik" and "Museum of the Nineteenth Century" are the earliest included and show the clear influence by Malevich, Tatlin, Rodchenko, Russian Constructivism, Suprematism, and avant-garde.
The exhibition was conceived by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Zaha Hadid before her death in 2016. The conversations between the two are included over 16 pages. The book includes additional essays by Etel Adnan, Shumon Basar, Detlef Mertins, Mikhail Piotrovsky, and Patrik Schumacher.
Pages are clean, crisp, and like-new. Die-cut cover has minor edge wear, a small stain on front, and a few tiny spot stains to back. Very good ++ condition.
