PAUL RUDOLPH | Architectural Drawings
- Description
- Details
A huge collection of 152 beautiful, hand-drafted architectural illustrations by Paul Rudolph and his staff. Includes key Paul Rudolph private residences, public housing, and public buildings.
Of note is the tight connection between Rudolph's meticulous drafting practice and the physical realization of the work. The tight parallel ruled lines he used to build tone and enliven the surfaces birthed his signature Brutalist corduroy bush-hammered concrete finish.
